Beth’s Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies
One of our Evolve family Beth Kaplan, has been making us these amazing Chocolate Chip Cookies through out the years and now she is sharing the recipe with everyone so you can enjoy them too! (Note from the Evolve team…we should have taken pictures of the cookies to share with you but we ate them all so we are sorry there is no photo to share)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Ingredients:
4 sticks butter melted
1 cup sugar
1 box brown sugar
4 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
4 1/2 cups flour
4 cups chocolate chips
Instructions:
Mix the 1 cup of sugar with the 1 box of brown sugar. Beat the two sugars with melted butter.
Add eggs and vanilla and beat again.
In a separate bowl mix half cup of flour with the salt and the baking soda.
Add to sugar mixture and mix well.
Beat in the rest of the flour. If it seems too wet add another half cup of flour.
When well blended add the chocolate chips.
Use a tablespoon and drop on un-greased cookie sheets.
Only drop 9 to a sheet or they will spread into each other.
***VERY IMPORTANT***
When the cookies start to rise take the cookie sheet and gently slam it on the rack or door of oven until they collapse.
Bake until golden brown and enjoy!
